Hello friends,
Praise God that He desires to teach us His will for us daily and lead us into the good works He has planned and purposed for us to do daily. We are starting to really make connections here with the surrounding churches and local pastors. This has been good because it allows us to share our vision with them and reassure them that we are not here to take members away from the church they pastor but to reach the lost who don't know the Lord.
As we learn more about the spiritual condition of the local churches and people here we have found so far this to be a very religious area. Many people here will claim to be part of a church group yet they don't even regularly attend the services that church provides. There is a huge need for the Word of God to be simply taught here line upon line from Genesis to Revelation. We are so thankful for the Lord calling us here and yet we ask you pray with us as we seek to do the Lord's will.

Praise God for:
- Ed and Connie who were missionaries in Asia for over 30 years. Such an encouragement to us in being faithful to whatever God gives you to do.
- Rain. This region is an agricultural area so we are thankful for the rain.
- Friends in California who called to check in on us and encourage us in the Lord.
- Fellow Pastors in town who get together monthly to talk. Wow how different Calvary Chapel really is. Praise God for differences but also for what unites us in Jesus.
- A weekly Men's Prayer group that Tim has been blessed to plug into.
- Helping us build relationships as we boldly share the Gospel.
- Our silly box-spring being sold after it was in our living room for over a month because it didn't fit upstairs. We learned to be content and yet to not stop praying.
- People here learning as we share with them that a church is not the building but the fellowship of believers in Jesus Christ.
- Using Tim to plant a seed of truth into the life of Andy R. who is one of our cities Police Patrol Officers as Tim did a ride-along with him. (Gave Tim a new prayer life for law enforcement)
Please Pray for:
- Leroy - We had a great talk about Jesus and he received a Gospel of John. Pray for him as he needs to get his eyes off of others and onto Jesus. Pray for his Salvation.
- Emily - Works at a Family Hair Salon. We had a great talk about Jesus and she received a Gospel of John. Pray for her relationship with her Grandmother and for her to surrender her life to Jesus.
- Kevin - He lives in Elbow Lake and received a Gospel of John. Pray for his Salvation.
- Rodger - He served our nation for 30+ years in the military and received a Gospel of John. Pray for his mind and heart to be open to the Gospel and for his Salvation.
- Randi - And her family are our neighbors and their hearts are open to the Gospel. Pray for their Salvation and forgiveness from past mistakes.
- Our upcoming outreach using Harvest America and our weekly Bible studies to follow.
- Us to have wisdom with the house back in Chico, to sell, rent or other?
- Tim as he meets with Chaplin Brad next week to talk about making hospital visits.
- Us to depend upon the Holy Spirit as He leads us to share the Gospel.
