It's all about Jesus!

Mark 1:17 "Then Jesus said to them, 'Follow Me, and I will make you become fishers of men.'"

Hello friends,

We are now in Minnesota, and after only a few days we have already seen the Lord use us to plant some seeds of the Gospel here. When Jesus told His disciples to follow Him He was giving them a simple invitation, and that invitation is all about following Jesus and letting Him do the work. That is exactly why we are here; because we really love our Jesus and want to follow Him as He leads us. Jesus said He would make the disciples fishers of men and I find great rest in this verse because that means it is God who will do the work in us and through us to reach the lost all around us. It's all about Jesus! 

Praise God for:

• All of the words of encouragement we have received and the outpouring of support. 
• A safe trip from California to Minnesota, and for pet friendly hotels along the way.
• The cross and the love of God which is our reason for ministry.
• A house to be able to stay at in Fergus Falls and for nearby family, who has been helping us get settled in.
• Time alone with Him in the Bible and being able to listen to Calvary Chapel Chico bible studies online.
• A wonderful home church family and their prayers which is already producing fruit here.
• Our neighbors Jeff and Missi who brought us flowers and home-made muffins. Jeff used to surf with Greg Laurie and is excited that we are here.

Please Pray for:

• Mel - Worked at Pizza Hut in Bozeman, Montana. She received a Gospel of John. Pray for her Salvation.
• Nathan - Works for Charter Communications in Fergus Falls, MN. We had a great talk about Jesus and he received a Gospel of John. Pray for his Salvation.
• A family we met at a nearby park who has a new baby in the hospital with meningitis.
• Our house back in Chico to sell and the sooner the better. 
• Time management as the loaded trailer of our home items as it was delayed and should be here this Monday and Tim only has so many PTO & Sick days left.
• Us to build relationships in town here with the goal of sharing the Gospel message.
• The State of Minnesota (and the USA as well of course) as Minnesota became the 13th state to allow gay marriage as of August 1st, 2013.
• Us to have boldness to share the Gospel and to depend upon the Holy Spirit as He leads us to share the Gospel.
