Some highlights of our time at the conference include being baptized in the Holy Spirit as Pastor John Higgins prayed for us. We were also anointed with oil and prayed over from Pastor Chik Chikeles as we prepare to move to Minnesota and fulfill the work God has called us to do (it was at that moment as Pastor Chik prayed that Tim received the gift of speaking in tongues by faith which was a huge blessing to him since he had resisted this gift of the Holy Spirit after his childhood Pentecostal experiences). Tim was able to spend time getting to know some of the men that will be close by who have offered to be mentors and friends to us. I was able to talk with some women there about the specific calling of being a church planters wife as well as a Pastor's wife. We both know that we received wise and helpful insight. Now as we have returned home we are even more excited to take the next step on this journey with the Lord, feeling a little more equipped and slightly more prepared, all the while knowing we will never be fully prepared or equipped yet always relying upon God's guidance, provision, and sufficiency. Tim knows that God has called him and will continue to allow God to do the equipping in his life for the work of the ministry.
I can't neglect to tell of the amazing food we ate while there as well. Most notable was the steak burgers with patties wrapped in bacon and grilled over coals. The buns were coated in butter before being warmed and served over the burger. Being in Wisconsin and not eating cheese curds (similar to fried Mozzarella cheese sticks) would be like the equivalent of going to AT&T Park to see a Giants game and not getting garlic fries; it's just unheard of! So we were introduced to deep fat fried cheese, Wisconsin style. It was marvelous. To quote Pastor Chik who treated us to all of our meals, "It is like baby angels kissing the inside of your mouth." Yeah, it was that good.
We met again with our Realtor today. She brought by some papers for us to sign, collected more specific information about the house and offered some suggestions to make our home look more appealing to buyers. She asked that we make some adjustments around the house, have a home pest inspection done and get the carpets cleaned. After this she will return to take some pictures of our house and put the listing up on the MLS. An appointment has been made for both for the home pest inspection and for the carpets to be cleaned next week, giving me a few days to pack up some of the "clutter" and show off just how much space the house really has to offer. These are exciting times!
Prayer Requests:
- For God's wisdom as we sell our house, and that it happens soon
- For the people of Fergus Falls to desire to know Jesus and be saved
- For peace as we trust entirely in God's sufficiency and confess our insufficiency
- For increased faith as God continues to revel His plan to us

| 4hr Afterglow in hotel lobby |
After the teaching both nights, we had an afterglow, that is, a time of reverently and expectantly waiting on the Spirit for the manifesting of His giftings and graces in our midst. The Holy Spirit spoke to, healed up, and empowered many in a way that was truly beautiful and peaceable. Tim felt a bit as though he was transported back into the days of the book of Acts!
