36 Weeks Update

I had my 36 week doctor's appointment on Tuesday.  The appointments will be weekly now, so I will try to get updates posted every week.  My Braxton-Hicks contractions have been getting stronger but not at all consistent at this point.  The doctor said I am not yet dilated at all, so no early labor just yet.  He did mention that because Tim has "tall genetics" and I am so small as well as the possibility of a large baby due to the gestational diabetes, that he might schedule another ultrasound in a week or two to check on Joshua's size.  If he is running out of room, my doctor might schedule me to be induced early to prevent any risks from trying to deliver a large baby.  I think Joshua is already running out of room, so I'm interested to see what he says when I go in next Wednesday.  At this point all he is really doing is putting on more weight anyway, so the sooner the better.  We want to meet this little guy!  The nursery is set-up, our car seat has been approved by the CHP and I plan to back our hospital bags later today and have them ready.  Tim and I have a maternity portrait session scheduled for this weekend, so he can feel free to come any time after about 4pm on Sunday.
