2nd Corinthians 4:16-18 "Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal."
One thing we have found in life is that it's full of surprises. Sometimes God will keep us from a problem, and yet sometimes He will let us go through the problem and will be with us in the midst of it. It has been awhile since our last update and partly because about a month ago I (Tim) was driving home from work on the freeway when a semi-truck pushed my vehicle off the road and totaled my vehicle. Thankfully I had no major injuries from the hit-and-run incident and since then have been able to get a replacement vehicle and fully recover in health. Looking back, I actually consider my time of pain and suffering a blessing because I now have a deeper trust and a even closer relationship with my Jesus.
Saints, we are so much more thankful for each and every day we are given and want to encourage you to make the most of each day for the Lord. We have been so blessed to see God working through our lives and give Him all the credit for the lives being changed here one heart at a time. We can't help but praise God as He brings more people to join the church fellowship and consider it a real blessing to serve the church the Lord is establishing. Women from various community groups are also reaching out to Anna via social media seeking council in their relationship with Jesus, with their husband and children. Also with school starting back up again I (Tim) have been able to minister to the college students and help many who are new to the Bible and the Christian faith.
We are continuing our way through the book of 1st Corinthians and will be covering chapter 13 this weekend, and are exited to see how the Lord ministers to His people. We are so thankful for the wonderful time of family worship we get to have every Sunday together as well. From day one our children have been with us in the ministry loving God and loving people and we are truly a privileged family. Recently we started Homeschooling with Joshua and he has been doing a great job! Each week he learns a letter and memorizes a Bible verse connected to the letter of the week. Caleb continues to crawl and it will be only a matter of time before he starts walking soon. What a joy!
