As Thanksgiving is upon us, Tim and I have so much to be thankful for. We truly are blessed. But with Thanksgiving comes the pressure of the Christmas season. Now that we have Joshua, now more than ever we don't want to loose sight of the true reason we celebrate Christmas, the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Many relatives and friends have been asking us about gift ideas so I thought I would write something easy for everyone to access.
As I mentioned before, our family is truly blessed and there isn't really anything that we need and we would prefer not to have others buy us gifts because of obligation. First and foremost, our strongest desire is to see the Name of Jesus proclaimed and all of the world saved as each new day brings us closer and closer to His return for His people. That would be the best gift!
Also, we want Joshua to grow up with the values of the importance of family, so we would love to spend as much time (especially around holidays) with family as possible. Having said all that if you still feel like you must get some kind of gift, here are some other options:
Give donation in our name:
There are several ministries that Tim and I strongly believe in and support. What a blessing to the whole world it would be if you made a donation to any of the following organizations.
Samaritan'sPurse: A ministry of Franklin Graham (Billy Graham's son) that gives humanitarian aid all around the world and here in the USA while sharing the Truth, Hope, and Love of Jesus Christ.
Gospelfor Asia: A ministry that trains up local believers to become pastors throughout Asia so that people can be better reached for Jesus by someone that already speaks their language and knows the culture.
FaithComes By Hearing: A ministry that is translating the Bible into every language on the planet (works with Wycliffe Ministry) and than getting audio versions to those people so that they may hear the Word of God and trust in Jesus.
Also, Joshua has his own bank savings account for a college fund. If you would like to put money into that account, that would be a blessing as well. Tim is the co-signer on the account so checks can be made out to either Joshua Molter or Tim Molter.
Thank you all so much. We love you and look forward to spending the holiday season with you.
