Joshua turned two months old this last week. He is getting so big and growing in so many ways developmentally. He still rolls over from time to time but it is a rare occasion. But he is doing very well with tummy time. Joshua's head control and neck strength are improving very much and he is beginning to tuck his legs under his tummy and propel himself forward ( a precursor to crawling). Also, now that Josh is getting bigger and holding his head up better, I can "wear" him in his baby carrier facing outward, which he likes much better. This is very helpful in getting things done around the house. He is actually asleep in it right now as I as writing this.
Josh is a very alert baby. While he does sleep a lot of the time, when he is awake he is a-movin' and a-shakin'! Josh love to lie on his activity mat and bat at his toys and look at himself in the mirror. He kicks his legs and swings his arms a lot too. Josh has started to "talk" a lot more also. He coos and make all kinds of little noises. And he has the cutest, big toothless smile. I love it! What a way to start the day when I go to wake him up in the morning and I am greeted with his big smile. What a blessing.
Tim continues to be a huge help as we employ a team effort in Joshua's care. What a blessing he is to me as well. I don't know how I would do this without him. Also, I recently cut my hair short again. It's "wash'n'wear"! So nice right now with Joshua! Here are some new pictures to share with you.
