Two and a half weeks ago, our washing machine broke. Thankfully it was still under warranty and it cost us nothing to replace it. Well, nothing financially. It was a test in patience as we waited these last two and half weeks for the reimbursement voucher and then to find time to get to the store to pick out a new washer and lastly for the delivery. Now that the new washing machine is here, I have never been so excited to do laundry. I have never minded doing laundry. I think it is one of the easiest chores plus it is a multi-tasking chore as you can get other things done at the same time. But once you have something so simple as a washing machine taken away you begin to realize all the small blessings we have and how much we take these things for granted. So thank you Lord for washing machines, for the dirty laundry that needs to be washed in them and the resources to purchase those clothes in the first place! May I never view chores the same way again. "Honor the Lord with your possessions." Proverbs 3:9
