Labor Day

As Labor Day has come and gone, I can't help but be thankful for so many things.  I am thankful that the Lord is my Provider and Sustainer.  I left work six months ago and so many amazing things have happened it that time.  There, of course, have been some lifestyle adjustments but that was to be expected.  I am thankful that the Lord has provided Tim with a stable job that brings in just enough income to meet our needs but still remind us that we need to rely on God and not on money.  There are many times when I doubt and consider returning to work but the Lord reminds me that His thoughts are above my thoughts and His ways above my ways.  I am thankful that we even have one income in our household as so many are still without work.  I am thankful that the Lord answered my prayers for deliverance from the work place so that I could be at home, serving my God and my husband.  And what a blessing it has been.  My desire to go back to work at this point is proof of my human sin nature to never be satisfied.  I prayed and God answered.  Now I want Him to answer in a different way.  Thank you Lord for Your perfect grace, patience and love for me.  Amen.
