The Domestic Diva gets "Pampered"

It has been almost six months since I felt the calling to leave my job and stay home to minister to Tim and become more involved in youth ministry at our church.  I can't believe how fast time goes.  When I first started telling others about leaving my job, the overwhelming response I got was, 'you're going to be so bored!  What will you do with your time?'  Well, I'm still waiting for the bored day.  Do housewives ever get bored days?  I think a more appropriate question is 'what haven't I been doing with my time?'  I just have to laugh.  But I am very happy.  Tim and I both feel this absolutely was the right choice.  The most recent ministry opportunity I have added is that I am now a Pampered Chef consultant.  After much prayer by both Tim and I, some rule and boundary-setting, we agreed that this would be a good way for me to minister to other ladies, get out of the house every once and a while and bring in some additional income.  I  had my first show last weekend, which went very well.  I also have two more shows booked and plenty of others who are interested.  It has certainly been fun.  And I get to share my testimony at every show!  Already I have had the opportunity to pray for and with several women that I otherwise would not have had the opportunity to.  It's been good and I am excited to see how the Lord is going to use it for His glory.

In other news,  Tim and I are doing very well with the youth ministry.  Things are progressing along quite nicely.  The Lord's timing is so perfect.  He has graciously given us some time to ease our way in.  We are very excited to see what will develop over time.  We are fully trusting on the Lord for He is always faithful.
